Sharks Make History

Congratulations to Natasha Nagle and Karin Ferris from the Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club on their impressive achievements at the 2023 Canadian Masters Swimming Championships in Calgary.

It’s remarkable to see them make history and deliver such incredible results.

Natasha Nagle, competing in the 30-34 age category, showcased her exceptional skills and determination. Winning two gold medals in the 400-meter freestyle and 800-meter freestyle is a remarkable accomplishment. Additionally, earning bronze medals in the 50-meter freestyle and 200-meter freestyle demonstrates her versatility and consistency.

Although she narrowly missed the bronze medal in the 100-meter freestyle, finishing fourth and only 0.6 seconds behind third place, it’s still an outstanding performance. Natasha’s fifth-place finishes in the 50-meter and 100-meter butterfly further highlight her talent and dedication.

Karin Ferris, competing in the 50-54 age category, also deserves recognition for her efforts. While she came seventh in the highly competitive 50-meter breaststroke and 100-meter freestyle events, her performance is commendable. Additionally, securing the eighth position in the 50-meter freestyle demonstrates her skill and commitment to the sport.
