Truck driver arrested in multi-vehicle freeway crash that killed 7 in Oregon
ALBANY, Ore. (AP) — The driver of a semitruck that slammed into a passenger van in western Oregon, killing 7 people, has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, DUI and other charges, the Oregon State Police said Friday.
The truck left the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 and hit a van carrying 11 passengers that was parked on the side of the freeway, according to police. The van was then pushed into the back of another semi-truck parked in front of it.

ALBANY, Ore. (AP) — Authorities were investigating one of Oregon’s deadliest crashes in recent years on Friday, a day after seven adults were killed and multiple people were seriously hurt in the multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 in the western part of the state.
