The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has fired a Prince Albert employee who allegedly stole from the organization.
The former worker allegedly took money and tools from the building maintenance supervisor’s office back in January, resulting in a loss of $1,070 for the SHA.
The employee was let go after an internal investigation with the situation eventually being reported to the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS). However, the Ministry of Health said the individual will not be facing any criminal charges.
Meanwhile, the SHA has increased the security around the building maintenance supervisor’s office.
