STARS helicopter cancelled for Buckland rollover

A single vehicle rollover this morning on Highway 2 north of Prince Albert ended with all occupants of a silver pickup leaving the truck and treated by local EMS.

Buckland Fire and Rescue was called just before 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning, and said that a STARS helicopter was en route with some firefighters tasked to setting up a landing zone.

When they arrived at the scene, they found all of the pickups occupants were no longer inside and were being assess by Parkland Ambulance paramedics.

The helicopter was cancelled.

Firefighters disconnected the vehicle’s battery and cleaned up debris at the scene.
