Two men arrested, drugs seized in Stanley Mission

Two men have been arrested and charged following a drug investigation by the La Ronge RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS).

Last week, officers with the GIS found out that occupants of a home on Settee Street in Stanley Mission may have been trafficking cocaine.

Officers eventually searched the home where they found and seized a small amount of crack cocaine, a machete, a sum of cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Two men, Yeina Koladino and Russell Charles were arrested and charged with a number of offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession obtained by crime.

Koladino of Saskatoon was also wanted on an outstanding warrant from Stanley Mission RCMP for failing to appear in court.

Charles, 38, from Stanley Mission is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 1.

RCMP said they continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
