Muskoday elects new Chief and Council

The newly elected Chief and Council at Muskoday First Nation represents a mix of new and familiar faces.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Ron Bear was elected Chief with 241 votes. This was 115 more than runner-up Elwin Bear.

Randolph Bear received 73 votes and Betty Prosper had 36.

In addition, the five elected councillors are Beryl Bear (re-elected), Ted Bear, Merle Crain (re-elected), Herman Crain and Elaine Smith-Ross.
