Body of 23-year-old woman found in East Flat home

UPDATE: On Wednesday afternoon, Prince Albert police said the woman’s death is not believed to be the result of foul play.

The investigation into the death continues.

Police are investigating after finding a woman deceased in a home in the East Flat area of Prince Albert.

The body of the 23-year-old woman was found in a home near 3^rd Street and 10 Ave East late Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the home at about 11:40 am along with Parkland Ambulance paramedics.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

Prince Albert police have assigned patrol officers along with investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division and the Forensic Identification Section.

People in the area can expect increased officer presence as the investigation continues.
