Thomson flawless, Hurricanes blank Raiders 3-0
PRINCE ALBERT, SK – Bryan Thomson was perfect between the pipes on Friday night, stopping all 31 shots he faced to help the Lethbridge Hurricanes over the Prince Albert Raiders 3-0 at the Art Hauser Centre.
The loss comes three days after defeating the Red Deer Rebels 5-2 on home ice.
“We didn’t compete hard enough,” said Raiders head coach Jeff Truitt. “I thought that we were light on pucks, I thought that we didn’t hustle to checks, I thought that we didn’t get to the front of the net enough. I thought that we were pretty light out there tonight. The overall compete and hardness is what we were missing here tonight.”
Tyson Laventure, Brayden Edwards, and Tyson Zimmer were the lamp lighters for Lethbridge while Joe Arntsen had a pair of assists and Logan Wormald had one helper.
