Former MLA inducted into Women’s Hall of Fame
Former MLA and volunteer Nicole Rancourt has been inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame by the Prince Albert Council of Women.
In addition to political activism, Rancourt gives much of her time to multiple efforts which made her a top choice to be the most recent inductee.
“Nicole has been a strong voice for women, families and children. She has been a role model throughout her career, both as a social worker and in public life. She has provided many with support, guidance and genuine caring,” Chrissy Halliday, president of the council, said.
In her teens, Rancourt started by volunteering at the Holy Family Hospital then joined the Woodland Daycare Board later when she became a mother.
