The three people charged with committing an indignity to Gallagher’s remains have upcoming court appearances as well.

Jessica Badger, who also goes by Sutherland, is set to appear in court on Feb. 14 to elect judge or jury trial, Ernest Whitehead will appear the following day for the same purpose and John Wayne Sanderson will do the same on March 1.

Gallagher, who grew up in Saskatoon, Ile-a-la-Crosse, and Cumberland House, was last seen alive at a convenience store in Saskatoon in late Sept. 2020.

Her remains were found in the South Saskatchewan River near St. Louis, 35 kilometres south of Prince Albert, almost exactly two years later within hours of the search beginning.
