Police find deceased man after reported weapons complaint

Prince Albert Police have said a 29-year-old man died early on Thursday morning after an incident involving a weapon.

At 2:42 a.m. police responded to a “weapons complaint” on 17th Street West and 7 Ave and found a man with what they described as a “significant injury.”

Parkland Ambulance paramedics responded to the scene and the man was declared deceased.

Police said in a release that investigators will be present in the are for the remainder of the day Thursday.

An autopsy will be conducted and police are asking anyone with details for the investigation can contact them or Crime Stoppers.
