Raiders look to stay hot against Rebels

The Prince Albert Raiders (9-12-2-0) are in Red Deer tonight where they’ll square off against the recently struggling Rebels (16-4-0-3).

The Raiders come into this game having defeated the Calgary Hitmen 5-2 less than 24 hours ago, while the Rebels are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to the Medicine Hat Tigers last night.

Who To Watch

Veteran forward Keaton Sorensen brought the thunder last night where he netted himself four points in last night’s win. The Red Deer, AB product two goals and two assists to help lead the green and gold over the Hitmen. Sorensen now has six points (2G, 4A) in his last two games.

Alternate captain Sloan Stanick also hung four points on Calgary, potting four helpers. The 2003-born forward now has seven points (2G, 5A) in his last two games to bring his season total up to 21 points through 20 games.

Captain Evan Herman scored his 50th career goal against the Hitmen last night while also adding two assists in the win. Like Sorensen, the pride of The Pas, MB also has six points through the last two games where Herman now sits just two points shy of 100 career points.
