Police confirm man dead after stabbing on 12th Street West and 12 Ave.

Police have confirmed a man has died following a stabbing on Friday afternoon.

Around 2:00 p.m., police said they were called to a home along 12 Ave. and 12 St. W. for reports that a person had been stabbed.

When officers arrived, they found a man bleeding and unconscious. Paramedics were called in to provide care.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police have not released the identity of the victim only saying he was from Prince Albert. A woman who lives at the house, told paNOW her “brother” was stabbed after answering the door. She described the two suspects as wearing all black.

The Criminal Investigation Division and the Forensic Identification Section of the Prince Albert Police Service continue to investigate.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area to contact them.
