Prince Albert clinics to receive COVID vaccine for kids six months and up
Vaccines against COVID-19 are now available in Saskatchewan for children age six months and older, and some clinics in Prince Albert will be getting their doses soon.
According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, one of the first walk in clinics for the Moderna vaccine is the PAGC Health Centre on Ninth Avenue West. They’ll have doses on Wednesday, Aug. 3, with the clinic open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (closed from noon until 1:00 PM). They’ll have more of the same doses the next Wednesday, Aug. 10.
At the Gateway Mall, meanwhile, doses will be available there on Thursday, Aug. 4. That clinic will operate from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM. They’ll have more openings on Aug. 11.
Kids are only required to show a provincial health card at these clinics, but parents may be asked to show identification. The clinics listed above do not require an appointment.
