Woman transported to hospital with serious injuries following weapons complaints: police

The Prince Albert police service is reporting a 23-year-old woman was transported to hospital Wednesday morning with serious injuries, following several weapons-related complaints.

The complaints were made in the area around the 1200 block of 14th St. W. Officers arrived in the area at approximately 8:17 a.m. and located the victim. She was then transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance.

The public is being advised that there will be an increased police presence in the area around the 1200 Block of 14th St. W. and the 1100 Block of 15th St. W. as the police investigation continues.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Police are also asking anyone who witnessed or heard anything suspicious between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Wednesday morning to contact them or Crime Stoppers. Tips can also be submitted online at https://www.p3tips.com/248
