Raiders release 2022/23 home schedule

Jun 23, 2022 | 2:20 PM

We may only be a few days into the summer season, but the Prince Albert Raiders’ 2022/23 season is starting to take shape.

On Thursday, the club released its home schedule for this upcoming season which consists of 34 games to be played at the Art Hauser Centre.

Although there are no teams from the B.C Division making the trip, every U.S Division team will take to the ice at AHC this season. The last time a team from the United States played in Prince Albert was back on January 11th, 2019 when the Raiders took down the Portland Winterhawks, 4-2.

The Tri-City Americans will be the first U.S team to make the trip to P.A this year, with the contest slated for November 1st. The game will also mark the first time the Raiders have played a Western Conference team in over 1,000 days.

The other games vs. American teams at Art Hauser Centre are scheduled for:

  • Saturday, November 5th vs. Everett Silvertips
  • Saturday, December 17th vs. Spokane Chiefs
  • Tuesday, January 10th vs Portland Winterhawks
  • Friday, January 13th vs. Seattle Thunderbirds

Other notable home games include:

  • Saturday, October 1st vs. Edmonton Oil Kings – first home game against defending WHL champs
  • Friday, December 9th vs. Regina Pats – first home game against Connor Bedard, Tanner Howe, and the Pats
  • Friday, December 30th vs. Regina Pats – first home game back from the holiday break
  • Friday, March 24th vs. Moose Jaw Warriors – regular-season home finale

The remainder of the 2022/23 season will be released at a later date, as well as a list of promotion nights.

The Raiders will begin their 2022/23 campaign at home on September 23rd vs. the Saskatoon Blades.
