Woman killed in fatal crash west of Prince Albert
Editior’s note: paNOW had earlier published that two 17 year olds were in the truck. We have since amended story to go on information provided by police.
A section of Highway 3 west of Prince Albert, currently being upgraded to help reduce the number of serious collisions happening there, was the scene of a fatal crash Saturday night.
Police have confirmed a 72-year-old person was killed when the westbound mini-van she was driving, collided head-on with an eastbound truck. A man who lives nearby told paNOW he was startled by the sound of the crash.
“It was like a bomb went off. It was such a damn explosion,” he recalled.
