Preds in a great spot heading into PGLL playoffs

The Prince Albert Predators finished off their Prairie Gold Lacrosse League junior season with a 6-1-1 record after defeating the Swift Current Wolverines 10-7 on Saturday on the road.

The Predators head into the playoffs in second place, finishing just one point back of the first place Saskatoon Jr. Swat (6-0-2).

Matthew Cudmore scored four goals and an assist in the victory for the Predators. He finished in a tie for the PGLL lead in points with 38, and assists with 23. He also scored 15 goals, finishing fifth overall.

Caidyn Prediger scored two goals and five points in the game. Tyson Perreault scored twice, while Dillan Cochrane and Hayden Ulriksen also scored.
