Saturday’s spring sidewalk sale celebrates shops and new season

Prince Albert’s downtown core sprung into the spring spirit on Saturday, with the city’s annual Downtown Sidewalk Sale.

Live music and cosplay action sequences and photo opportunities filled the Memorial Square in the middle of the day Saturday. Participating stores from the Gateway Mall, all the way down to the riverfront, set up tables and signs with featured goods for sale.

Then over at the City Hall parking lot, the first Prince Albert Farmer’s Market sale got underway for the first time this season, as well.

The Downtown Sidewalk Sale will continue throughout the summer and fall, with dates scheduled for July 23, Aug. 20, and Sept. 24.
