City to resume yard waste collection for spring

The City of Prince Albert said that yard waste collection will resume for the spring season on April 25.

Yard waste can also be dropped off free of charge at the landfill Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Yard waste collection will start in these areas on the following dates:

Area 1 – Resumes April 25, 2022

Area 2 – Resumes May 4, 2022

Information about which area you are in, as well as the 2022 Waste Collection Calendars, can be found on the city website.

Yard waste is picked up on the same day as recycling and you’re reminded not to put out yard waste until collection day

The waste goes in paper bags and should weigh less than 25 kg each in order to be accepted for pick up.

Any branches that are left for pick up should be tied in bundles and cut to be less than one metre in length.
