Pachal debuts in the show; Raiders take on Broncos at the Art Hauser Centre
Former Prince Albert Raiders captain Brayden Pachal made his NHL debut on Tuesday. Pachal wore the number 94 jersey for the Vegas Golden Knights in their 7-3 defeat to the Winnipeg Jets. Pachal played 10:31 in the game and was -1.
Earlier this season, Pachal was named as the captain of the Henderson Silver Knights, the AHL-affiliates of the Golden Knights. He has a goal and eight points in 47 games for the Silver Knights, along with 58 penalty minutes. This is Pachal’s third professional hockey season after captaining the Raiders to the 2019 WHL Championship title.
Pachal was acquired by the Raiders from the Victoria Royals midway through the 2016-17 season. He played 164 games with the Raiders, scoring 25 goals and earning 89 points. In the 2018-19 season, Pachal had 15 goals and 51 points in 66 games. He also led the league in plus-minus at +76.
