No injuries at Forest Grove Apartment fire, cause under investigation

UPDATE: 4:20 p.m. Tuesday

No injuries were reported in connection with the Forest Grove Apartment Fire earlier today.

Prince Albert Fire Department said crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof and the rear of the three-story building just before 11:00 am.

After doing a primary search for occupants to make sure the building was empty, firefighters began to aggressively attack the fire from the exterior.

The fire was put out, but the building and the contents received significant damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Emergency crews are currently battling a fire at the Forest grove Apartments on Dunn Drive.

The fire department and police service are asking people to stay away from the area as crews battle the fire.

Emergency personnel at the scene told paNOW they believed everyone has been evacuated from the building.
