Mar 11, 2022 | 2:00 PM

After waiting for three weeks, the Prince Albert Mintos will finally be able to step back onto the ice and begin their Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League postseason.

The Mintos will battle against the third-place Warman Wildcats Friday at 8 p.m. at the Legends Centre.

Game 2 will be back at the Art Hauser Centre on Sunday at 7 p.m.

Game 3 will be at the Legends Centre on March 18 at 8 p.m. Should the best-of-five series reach Game 4, that will be at the Art Hauser Centre on March 20 at 7 p.m. If required, the rubber match will be on March 23 at the Legends Centre, at 8 p.m.

The Mintos had a 1-3 record against the Wildcats this season. The Mintos also will not have the services of SMU18AAAHL leading scorer Jacob Cossette for Game 1, as he will serve a one-game suspension.

Mason Bueckert led the Wildcats in scoring with 62 points in 44 games, ranked fourth in the league.
