First Nations continue to see COVID-19 cases fall, 27 per cent uptake in boosters

Indigenous Services Minister Patty Hajdu says COVID-19 cases continue to fall in First Nations communities.
She says over the past week average daily case counts fell by around 10 per cent compared to the previous week.
The federal government says as of Tuesday there were almost 3,000 active cases reported on-reserve.
Indigenous Services Canada says 88 per cent of people aged 12 and older in First Nations communities have received a second dose of vaccine, while only 27 per cent received a booster.
