Police identify man who allegedly assaulted woman inside a local business
A man who allegedly assaulted a woman in a Prince Albert business has officially been charged by police.
Forty-nine-year-old Roma Carson claimed she was punched in the back of the head by a man on Feb. 1 after he accused her of not following the directional signage on the floor of the store isles.
She explained to paNOW when she yelled at the man, telling him to take his hands off her, he then knocked the phone out of her hand and proceeded to punch her multiple times in the back of the head, and even pulled her jacket over her head.
P.A. police have since arrested a 71-year-old man, who cannot be named until after making his first court appearance, and have charged him with one count of assault.
