A man sought by RCMP in connection to an armed robbery two weeks at Sturgeon Lake First Nation is in custody and scheduled to appear before a judge Tuesday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Joshua Naytowhow, 29, was arrested in Prince Albert on Monday.

On the evening of Dec. 14, RCMP received a report of a man approaching a vehicle and threatening the occupants with a firearm.

The vehicle’s occupants fled and were not hurt.

The investigation revealed the suspect, along with two other individuals, then attempted to steal the vehicle but were unsuccessful.

Naytowhow faces four charges including robbery with a firearm, use of an imitation firearm while committing an offence, and failing to comply with probation orders.
