Two people found dead along Highway 355 near Meath Park

Two people have been found dead in a vehicle near Highway 355 between Albertville and Meath Park.

Prince Albert RCMP said the deceased people were found around 9:00 p.m. Thursday night.

The investigation into the deaths continues but police said they are suspicious in nature.

The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken the lead in the investigation.

On Friday afternoon, RCMP advised people to avoid an area of Highway 355 in the RM of Garden River due to an increased police presence.

RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity on Highway 355 on Thursday or has information about these deaths to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
