Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP searching for missing couple

The Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating two missing adult individuals.

During the morning of Oct. 30, police received a report that Jake Laliberte and Natasha McLean, a couple from the community, were missing.

Last seen in Île-à-la-Crosse on Oct. 18, Laliberte and McLean informed their immediate family they would be travelling to Steinbach, Man. Since then, their family hasn’t been able to contact them.

Both are believed to be travelling together, and an investigation has determined they were recently in Brandon, Man. on Oct. 22 in a grey Chevrolet Cruz. Polce now believe they may be travelling in a black Dodge Ram.

Laliberte is described 6-1 tall male weighing nearly 265 lb. He is said to have short, dark blonde hair, blue eyes and a goatee.

McLean is described as approximately 5-6 tall and 165 lb. She has long, dark blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a leather coat.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Laliberte and McLean are asked to please contact their local police detachment or submit an anonymous tip to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers online or by phone at 1‐800‐222‐TIPS (8477).
