Ânskohk Indigenous Literature Festival

The Ânskohk Indigenous Literature Festival was created to showcase the diversity of writing by Indigenous authors, to educate the general population about the richness of Indigenous literature, and to promote further understanding of Indigenous peoples.

This year’s festival features many Indigenous authors including Jordan Abel, Lisa Bird-Wilson, Maria Campbell, Rosanna Deerchild, Alicia Elliott, Monique Gray Smith, Waubgeshig Rice, Gregory Scofield, Jesse Wente, and more!

We will also be screening the film Indian Horse at the Roxy Theatre with a Q&A following with screenwriter Dennis Foon, led by Rosanna Deerchild!
