236 new COVID-19 cases, no new deaths reported

The Government of Saskatchewan announced 236 new COVID-19 cases in Sunday’s update.

Out of the new cases, 184 are unvaccinated, 76 or which are children aged 11 and younger.

With the new cases, 19 are in the North West zone, 21 in North Central, three in North East, nine in Far North West, none in Far North Central and seven in Far North East. No new deaths were reported.

There were 314 recoveries, reducing the active cases down 77 from Saturday’s total to under the 3,000-mark at 2,963.

There are 10 new cases to report today in Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority communities, nine (90 per cent) were unvaccinated, zero (0 per cent) are partially vaccinated and one (10 per cent) were fully vaccinated.

There are 196 active cases of COVID-19 in NITHA communities.
These cases are located in the Far North Central (Athabasca), zero; Far North West, 58; Far North East, 94; North Central, 18; and North East, 26; 6,464 cases (96 per cent) have recovered, and 11 people are hospitalized.
