P.A. Legion announces Remembrance Day ceremony to be held at the City Hall courtyard
The Prince Albert branch of the Royal Canadian Legion has announced there will be no Remembrance Day ceremony at the armoury this year but rather a small ceremony held at the City Hall courtyard on Nov. 11.
Rick Hodgson, president of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 2 in Prince Albert told paNOW it will be open to public.
“It’s going to be a fast service again like last year. The laying of the wreaths will be pre-laid except for the two clubs will be laying the wreaths for the veterans,” Hodgson said.
The personal and business wreaths will be laid before the ceremony due to COVID-19 precautions.
