Prince Albert’s Martin Ring finished the 2021 Canadian Senior Men’s Golf Championships in La Malbaie, Quebec as he continued to climb up the rankings.
Ring was 94th after his first-day 84, but managed to rocket all the way up to 56th by the time the tournament had finished on Friday. Ring shot a pair of 77’s and an 80 to finish near the top 50, and to make the cut after the opening two days.
New Brunswick’s Darren Ritchie ran the table as he finished first after all four days. He shot a 73 on Friday for a final score of 290, two-over-par. That’s five strokes lower than Ontario’s Joe Miszk and Quebec’s Luc Guilbault, both who were tied for second at seven-over-par.
