Increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 after events in Prince Albert and Birch Hills
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is reporting an increased risk of exposure in Prince Albert and Birch Hills after a pair of events last month.
On Aug. 28 in Birch Hills a person or persons was in attendance while infectious at Grave Site Funeral Service and a reception afterwards at the Birch Hills Civic Centre. The timeline listed is from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Also on Aug. 28 in Prince Albert from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. a person or persons attended while infectious attended a wedding at Carlton Park Hall.
According to a media release, the SHA are advising those in attendance during these dates and times should immediately self-isolate until Sept. 11 and get tested. However, if you have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine you do not need to self-isolate but should be self-monitoring for symptoms.
