Blaine Lake RCMP seeking public’s assistance locating missing woman

UPDATE: As of 3:11 p.m. the Blaine Lake RCMP are confirming Lariviere has been located safe.

Blaine Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s help after receiving a report of a missing woman at about 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 7.

Karen Lariviere, 58, was last seen at the Blaine Lake Esso on Sept. 5 at about 7 p.m. She is dealing with health issues, and her family and police are concerned for her well-being.

Lariviere is described as about 5’4”, 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple zip-up hoodie, black pants and white cloth shoes.

Police say she may be travelling in a white 1995 GMC Sierra, with Alberta licence plate CJX 9605. She may be heading to Edmonton, or the Blaine Lake or Muskeg Lake Cree Nation areas, although this has not been confirmed.

Anyone with information on Lariviere’s whereabouts can call the Blaine Lake RCMP at 306-497-3600. People can also report a tip anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
