389 new COVID-19 cases in the province; now over 3,000 active cases

There are 389 new COVID-19 cases reported in Saskatchewan on Sunday, making it the third day in a row where there has been most than 350 cases.

Out of the new cases, 58 are from the North Central, 53 in the North West, and nine in the North East. There are also 20 new cases in the Far North West and 11 in the Far North East.

There now over 3,000 cases, making it 3,119 active cases in the province. There are 138 hospitalizations in the province, and 52,409 recoveries.

NITHA numbers

There are 53 new cases to report today in Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority communities; 33 (62 per cent) unvaccinated, 7 (13 per cent) were partially vaccinated and 13 (25 per cent) were fully vaccinated.

There are 377 active cases of COVID-19 in NITHA communities.

These cases are located in the Far North Central (Athabasca), 25; Far North West, 58; Far North East, 245; North Central, 33; and North East, 16; 4,576 cases (92 per cent) have recovered, and eight people are hospitalized.
