One year on: P.A. police and family seeks answers in Chaboyer murder
With the anniversary of his last sighting coming up tomorrow, the family of Tristan Chaboyer and the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) are hoping someone will come forward and help in the investigation into his murder.
Last week police confirmed through DNA testing the remains they found in a wooded location northeast of the city earlier this year are his. In June his mother said items of his clothing had been found.
Chaboyer was supposed to show up for a court appearance Sept. 9 last year and was reported missing the next day. He was last seen Sept. 4, 2020.
PAPS said they are working closely with the family and ask anyone with information related to this investigation to contact police at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
