A search continues across the Prince Albert region for a man who goes by the nickname “Baby Glen.”

Glen Federick Halkett, 25, is being sought by RCMP in connection to a vehicle theft involving a firearm on Wednesday morning in the Rural Municipality (RM) of Buckland.

He’s also wanted for an armed robbery that happened on the Little Red River First Nation last Saturday.

According to an update from the RCMP at noon on Thursday, the public can expect a noticeable police presence on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Police have previously indicated Halkett may have gone to the communities of Little Red River First Nation, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Prince Albert, Shellbrook or Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation.

Anyone with information about Halkett’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers. Should anyone see Halkett, they are advised not to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.
