Final four meet for championship flight at 100th Northern

The third and final day of the Cooke Municipal 100th Men’s Northern Amateur Golf Tournament at Cooke Municipal Golf Course is well underway with the semi-final teeing off at 7 a.m. this morning.

While defending champion Danny Klughart led the way with 65 to lead the Championship flight Sunday morning, Mike Smith would overtake him to move on to the early morning semis.

Greg Swenson would also hold on to his low scores to dominate his match over Shaun Dunphy and will be facing Smith in their semi-final match.

Wyatt Newman overtook Keegan Boire and will face Trevor Ring who overtook Travis Fehr.

The winners from both matches will meet for the 1:00 p.m. tee off to compete for the top prize.
