UPDATED: Prince Albert Police Service seeks assistance in locating woman with warrant

UPDATED: paNOW has learned the Prince Albert Police Service has arrested Sakebow without incident on the afternoon of July 28.

The Prince Albert Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 33-year-old, Loretta Lynn Sakebow.

Sakebow is wanted in connection with the homicide of 29-year-old Jeremy Starblanket which occurred in Prince Albert on March 20th, 2021. There has been a Canada-wide warrant issued for the arrest of Sakebow for the charge of second degree murder.

Sakebow also goes by the name “Lynda” and has ties to Pelican Lake First Nation, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, Witchekan Lake First Nation and Prince Albert.

She is described as 5-6 tall, 130 lbs and has a tattoo on the right side of her neck.
