COVID-19 cases identified in two Sask. Rivers schools

Jun 24, 2021 | 10:00 AM

The Saskatchewan Rivers School Division announced on Thursday that COVID-19 cases in two of their schools have been identified by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

One positive COVID-19 case was found in both King George Public School, as well as St. Louis Public School.

King George students and staff linked to a Grade 2 class will self-isolate until midnight July 5. St. Louis students and staff associated with the PreKindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms will self-isolate until June 30th (for PreK) and July 1 (for Kindergarten).

As there is no evidence the cases were acquired or transmitted at the school, in-person learning will continue for the rest of the schools.
