Lowest one-day total of new COVID-19 cases since Feb. 24
The Government of Saskatchewan reported just 73 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday— making it the lowest one-day total recorded in the past 102 days.
The last time there was a lower daily total of new cases was back on Feb. 24, when just 56 cases were recorded. No new deaths were reported, as well.
The 73 new cases brings the province’s seven-day average down to 103.
The new cases are located in the following zones: Far North East, one; North West, nine; North Central, eight; Saskatoon, 26; Central West, two; Central East, six; Regina, 13; South Central, seven; and South East, one. Five previously reported cases have been assigned to the Far North East, two; and Regina, three, zones. One case tested out-of-province with location pending was added to the total case counts.
