Nominations for the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan election on May 29 are in and have been officially accepted by Chief Electoral Officer Gwen LaFond.
The four executive positions received 20 nominations, while 34 nominations are spread out over the 12 regional representative spots.
Clem Chartier, Karen LaRocque, Glen Hector McCallum and Mary Ann Morin have all been nominated for president, while Darrel Burnouf, Darren Deschambeault, Michelle LeClair, Dale McAuley and Gerald Morin are up for vice president.
Beckie Belanger, May V. Henderson, Lisa McCallum, Craig Henry Morin, and Ashley Norton are up for secretary while Earl Cook, Louis G. Gardiner, Melvina Goulet, Harmonie Amanda King, John Robert LaFontaine, and Dennis Langan have been nominated for treasurer.
