Man arrested following Dangerous Person Alert in Meadow Lake

The Dangerous Person Alert issued by Meadow Lake RCMP was cancelled shortly before 3 p.m. today.

RCMP arrested one adult male. The investigation is ongoing.

Police said they would provide more information about this incident as soon as they are able.

Earlier police had issued the alert regarding a male suspect identified as 28-year-old Jordan Nelson.

Police said he was last known to be carrying a large axe or edged weapon.
