Alberta Pulse Growers approve a million dollars in research investments
EDMONTON, AB. — An investment of $1.06 Million has been approved by the Alberta Pulse Growers Commission (APG) for research projects on major issues impacting farmers.
APG Chair Robert Semeniuk, says all of the research is expected to improve the bottom line for Alberta farms.
“All of the projects focus on objectives of APG’s new strategic plan by addressing issues in agronomy, breeding options and marketing.”
At its meeting in January, the APG Board of Directors agreed to support six agronomic projects, one breeding project and one in the area of marketing and health.
