Extended temporary closure of COVID-19 drive-thru testing in P.A.

Feb 8, 2021 | 12:17 PM

The drive-thru testing site in Prince Albert will remain closed Monday.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) closed the site on the weekend due to the extreme cold temperatures. It was expected to re-open this morning; however, Environment Canada is calling for extreme windchill values in the -40 C to -50 C range.

The health authority anticipates the site should be back in operation Tuesday at 8 a.m.

The public can call HealthLine 811 for a referral to the testing and assessment centre.
