Goodvoice meanwhle, is currently serving a seven-year sentence at Saskatchewan Penitentiary in relation to a weapons bust in the city last year, as well as a break and enter that took place shortly after Chretien’s death.

On the night of Feb.19, 2020, police searched a residence in the 800 Block of 13th St. W. and located a sawed-off shotgun, three shotgun shells, two machetes and zip ties. Two bandanas were also seized at the residence which implied a gang affiliation. In addition to the murder charge, Goodvoice is also accused of starting a fire at the Prince Albert YWCA in December 2019.
