COVID cases reported at three P.A. schools

Public Health officials have notified the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division of individual(s) testing positive for COVID -19 in three schools.

In a media release Saturday evening the school division listed the schools and the impacts.

Arthur Pechey Childcare – The childcare is closed for a series of deep cleans, impacts a few AP students but no staff.

Ecole Vickers Public School- No student impact.

St. Louis Public School – several classrooms and several staff.

The media release did not give details on the precise numbers of those impacted at St. Louis.

The school division said it was recently informed of the positive COVID-19 test results and communication is being shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school community. The learning program will continue remotely only for those students and staff affected while in-person learning will continue for the rest of the school.

Privacy concerns prevent sharing of further details of the case.
