P.A. day care closed due to COVID

UPDATE: Tom Tilford, the board chair for the Family Future’s day care center confirmed they had received clearance from Public Health to open effective, Thursday, Dec.3, 2020.

A Prince Albert day care centre is closed due to what is being termed a COVID-19 contact.

The Family Future’s day care center at 196, Ninth Street E. was closed on Nov. 19. The Family Futures Outreach program – located in a different part of the building – was closed on Nov. 17.

In an email to paNOW Wednesday, board chair for Family Futures Inc., Tom Tilford, said all staff and children have been sent home and are in the process of being tested.

He said Public Health will advise when they are able to reopen.

The two other centers at Riverside and King George schools remain open at this time.
