Pedestrian struck by car in P.A.

A child is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the city Wednesday evening.

Parkland Ambulance Paramedics and The Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the incident at the intersection of Ninth Ave and 15th Street W. just before 7 p.m.

On arrival, crews found that a child had been hit at the intersection.

The child was transported to hospital with non life-threatening but serious injuries.

The driver was uninjured and the incident is being investigated by police.
