Royals looking for a revenge in rematch against A’s

After a brief road trip, the Prince Albert Royals will return home to Andy Zwack on Thursday and look to get back in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League Midget AA winning column.

The Royals will have a rematch against the Saskatoon Athletics on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The Athletics got the better of the Royals on Tuesday with a 7-4 win. The Athletics led 5-3 after four innings but got two runs insurance runs in the sixth inning on an RBI single from Kaden Wright and Stratton Mair drawing a walk with the bases loaded.

The Royals were held to three hits in the game. Ben Lefebvre got two of them, going 2-3 from the plate and scoring two of the team’s four runs. Levi Rask and Logan Fontaine had the other two runs scored. Josh LaClaire had the other Royals’ hit.

On the mound, Lefebvre pitched all six innings. Although he gave up seven runs, only one of them was earned. Lefebvre struck out seven batters and walked five.
